Hi, I’m Rebecca….
“Ultimately, I feel, Yoga, Meditation, Feldenkrais, and other contemplative practices, are about reconnecting, realigning, and coming home to a truer and fuller sense of ourselves – physically, mentally, and emotionally.”
Quite soon after I moved in 2022 to live in West Cornwall, someone said to me,
“Down here, people are more alive to spirit.”
The words gave me a little jolt. Partly, I was surprised, but pleased, to have moved somewhere where people said things like that. But I also realised that I love Yoga, Feldenkrais, and Meditation – in fact, I love walking, dancing, breathing, swimming, lying on warm granite, sipping tea looking out of the window, reading poetry – all because I want to feel more alive to spirit every day. For me, spirit means our human potential to feel and live fully. And this can be found in sensation, movement, and breath, as inseparable from a sense of ourselves and our well-being.
I very much hope that the way I teach – in my different classes and approaches to sensation, movement, and awareness – reflects all the above.
